Wallet Top-Up Policy

How the GifteGO Wallet works, how to add funds, crediting times, and why wallet credit is non-refundable.

Last updated: March 17, 2026

01

What the GifteGO Wallet Is

The GifteGO Wallet is a prepaid store-credit balance held on your GifteGO account and used to pay for purchases on the platform.

  • Balance is held in the currency shown on your Wallet page
  • Usable only for purchases on GifteGO
  • Linked to a single verified account
  • Not a bank account, deposit, or investment product

02

Adding Funds

Funds may be added using the payment methods available at the time of top-up. Minimum and maximum top-up amounts are shown in the top-up window and may change.

  • Credit or debit card
  • PayPal
  • Cryptocurrency

03

Crediting Times

Card and PayPal top-ups are normally credited as soon as the payment provider confirms them. Cryptocurrency top-ups are credited only after the required number of network confirmations, which can take longer when the network is congested.

If your balance has not updated shortly after a successful payment, refresh the page before contacting support. Some providers confirm asynchronously.

04

Non-Refundable and Non-Withdrawable

Funds added to your GifteGO Wallet are final. Wallet balances cannot be withdrawn, transferred to another user or account, or returned to the original payment method.

By completing a top-up you acknowledge that the amount added is non-refundable and may only be used for purchases on GifteGO.

05

Verification and Limits

Top-ups may be subject to identity verification depending on the amount, your account history, or your region. We may request:

  • Government-issued identification
  • Payment method verification
  • Proof of source of funds where required

06

Failed or Incomplete Top-Ups

If a payment is completed but your balance is not credited, contact support with your payment reference and we will investigate.

  • Cryptocurrency sent after a payment quote expires may be delayed or unrecoverable
  • Cryptocurrency sent in a coin or on a network other than the one shown may be unrecoverable
  • Underpaid or overpaid crypto transfers may require manual review

07

Suspension, Termination and Verification

GifteGO reserves the right to require verification, restrict, suspend, or terminate a Wallet where account or transaction activity is considered suspicious, or inconsistent with these policies or applicable law. This includes:

  • Requesting identity or payment-method verification at any time
  • Placing a temporary hold on a balance while a review is carried out
  • Restricting top-ups, redemptions, or purchases during a review
  • Suspending or closing a Wallet
  • Reversing credit applied in error or obtained through abuse of the platform
Reviews are carried out in line with our AML Compliance policy. Where a Wallet is suspended, you may contact support to request a review of the decision.
